Troubleshooting
Common issues with connecting, signing in, editing, and downloading.
"You belong to more than one organization"
DocketDrafter scopes documents to a single DocketDrafter organization and identifies it from your membership. If your account belongs to more than one organization, it cannot tell which to use. Ask an administrator to leave you in a single organization for use with DocketDrafter, or contact us.
DocketDrafter isn't listed after adding it
Confirm you entered the server URL exactly:
https://api.docketdrafter.com/mcpThen reopen Settings → Connectors. If it still doesn't appear, remove and re-add it.
Sign-in window doesn't complete
Sign in with the same account you use for the DocketDrafter app. If the window closes without connecting, try again; if it keeps failing, disconnect DocketDrafter and re-add it.
An edit didn't apply
Edits are exact-match: the text the assistant is replacing must appear in the document exactly once. If an edit reports no match or multiple matches, ask the assistant to re-read the document and try a more specific change. Numbering is automatic, so you do not need to renumber paragraphs yourself.
The document won't download
The download opens the rendered .docx. If nothing happens, make sure the preview finished loading, then use the download button again. If it still fails, ask the assistant to re-render the document, or contact us.
